{Kids: Kyle}

Meet Amy and Kyle. Amy has been my best friend for years, and we both share a love for scrapbooking and picture taking. Amy wanted some nice pictures of Kyle, and  I was at her place for the day, so we found a beautiful canola field and started snapping away. We got piles of CUTE pictures of Kyle-- he's a natural goof in front of the camera! If my Internet wasn't so slow, I would post way more pictures of this little guy!! Ames, thanks for letting me take the pictures of Kyle! I miss you like crazy, and can't wait to see how much Ky and Natalie have grown up since I saw them last!

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Ps 127: 3

{Jer & Kar: I Do!}

 Meet Jeremy & Kar-lee, again!! This was my first wedding which I would be doing on my own (scary thought!), so I asked my friend Amy Vanderspek to help me. I was SUPER nervous and slightly stressed out, but it went well!! I had everything planned out, all my ideas written down and away we went! The day was absolutely beautiful! I was at Kar-lee's place at 7 in the morning, and by the end of the night, I decided that weddings were extremely tiring! (who knew?!) I took well over 2000 pictures, and I had fun! A couple things I learned from that day: 1) Don't stress about the weather. God's got it under control. 2.) I hate mosquitoes. 3.) Flowers are beautiful! and 4.) Weddings are special, exciting, and awesome! Thanks Jeremy and Kar-lee for putting up with me and my camera on your special day! :)

Aren't her flowers beautiful?!

 Shoes and rings fascinate me :)

{Jer & Kar: engaged!}

Meet Jeremy and Kar-lee! When Kar-lee asked me to take her engagement pictures, I was so excited!! It was my first time taking engagement photos, and I planned and planned and dreamt up all sorts of neat ideas. Of course, the weather didn't cooperate that well, and things weren't very green yet, but we did finally manage to take lots of pictures on this beautiful day :) I love engagement sessions because they're so refreshing and fun! (I secretly already have all the picture ideas planned out for when I get engaged, someday, lol) Thanks, Jer & Kar-lee for letting me photograph your engagement. Who would have known that it was the start of me taking thousands and thousands of pictures of you guys!!
I love the green bridge!
